News Release, Town of Chesapeake Beach

In response to public safety concerns, an automated speed enforcement program will be enforced on Old Bayside Road to deter speeding and promote a safer street for school buses, parents and children of Beach Elementary School.

The enforcement program along Old Bayside Road is anticipated to be in place by Friday, March 1st. The enforcement program will issue warnings to violators from March 4th to March 18th with live enforcement and citations issued to violators thereafter.
