03/02/19- Dep. Raley responded to the 23000 block of Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville, for the reported vehicle off the roadway into a ditch. Contact was made with the operator of the vehicle, Virginia Frances Marquis, age 63 of Mechanicsville. It was determined Marquis had been operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Marquis was charged with Driving Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol Per Se, and Driving Vehicle While Impaired by Alcohol. 03/02/19- DFC. D. Smith responded to the 35200 block of Army Navy Drive in Mechanicsville, for a noise complaint. Upon arrival he observed a vehicle running, playing loud music, with the operator asleep at the wheel. The operator was determined to be Teresa Marie Haley, age 56 of Mechanicsville. Haley was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol and was charged with Driving Vehicle While Impaired by Alcohol, Driving Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Driving Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol Per Se.
