PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – March 8, 2019 – The Calvert County Department of Parks & Recreation will hold a bottled water drive Friday, March 22 in recognition of International Clean Water Day. Citizens can donate water to the North Beach Recreation Center, the Northeast Community Center or the Parks & Recreation main office located at 205 Main Street, 1st floor, in Prince Frederick.

Everyone who donates unopened bottled water (gallon jug, mini-sized and full-sized water bottles, etc.) will be eligible to win a prize. All donations will be distributed locally. Donations are also accepted any time prior to or after March 22, 2019 at any of the above listed locations. Please call 410-535-1600, ext. 8212 or ext. 2227, to coordinate alternate drop-off arrangements if needed.
