News Release, Calvert Marine Museum

SOLOMONS, MD – March 12, 2019 – The Calvert Marine Museum (CMM) and Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center (AMG) are joining forces again to bring Homeschool Day to Solomons on Monday, March 25, 2019.  This year’s theme is Celebrate Maryland!  Programs are designed for students in grades K-5, but all ages can discover something new.  All activities are included with CMM and AMG admission.

Students can expect to spend the day learning about Maryland and its symbols.  A morning session will take place at CMM from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.  AMG will have lunch space from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.  Afterwards, participants are invited to continue Homeschool Day activities until 3 p.m.  BINGO cards will be available upon check-in at CMM.  Students will complete their cards by looking for items at both locations, and return it to AMG for the chance to win a prize.
