Assault/Resisting Arrest- On March 3, 2019, Dep. Fenwick was in the 21400 block of Pegg Road in Lexington Park, regarding a motor vehicle collision. Carla Evette Blanton, age 48 of Lexington Park, attempted to bypass officers on scene, and get access to a patient in the collision. Blanton placed her hand on an officer’s throat and attempted to choke him.
Officers on scene attempted to take Blanton into custody, at which time she began resisting and grabbed another officer by the shirt. Blanton was taken into custody and charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Resist/Interfere with Arrest, and Obstructing and Hindering. CASE# 13047-19
Child Neglect- On March 2, 2019, Cpl. Tirpak responded to the 22800 block of Goddard Court in Leonardtown for the reported motor vehicle theft. Investigation determined Jarvis Joseph Carter, age 39 with no fixed address, took the victim’s vehicle without the victim’s consent. The following day, March 3rd, Cpl. Tirpak returned to the victim’s residence for a follow-up regarding the motor vehicle theft. When she arrived on scene she discovered a juvenile child age 7 had been left alone. It was determined Carter was supposed to be watching the child, and had left the child alone.
Carter returned to the scene where he was arrested and charged with Neglect of Minor, Confine Unattended Child, and Unauthorized Removal of a Motor Vehicle. CASE# 13064-19
Herbert was located on scene and arrested for Burglary 4th Degree. CASE# 13042-19
Burglary- On March 3, 2019, Dep. Shelko responded to the 27000 block of Yowaiski Mill Road for the reported burglary. Investigation determined Marlo Lionel Herbert, age 40 of Mechanicsville, forced his way into the victim’s residence, and then rummaged through items in the victim’s bedroom.
Assault- On March 4, 2019, Cpl. White responded to the 22000 block of Fox Ridge Road in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Clayton Timothy Dixon, age 37 of Lexington Park, struck the victim in the head, with a full length mirror, and also punched the victim in the back of the head.
The victim sustained visible injury as a result of the assault. Dixon was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 13177-19
Violation of Protective Order- On March 4, 2019, Dep. T. Snyder responded to the 15200 block of Point Lookout Road in St. Inigoes, for the reported disturbance. Investigation determined Carol Andrea Gregory, age 57 with no fixed address, was at the residence and an argument ensued.
It was also determined there is an active court order against Gregory which she was violating being at the residence. Gregory was arrested and charged with Violate Protective Order. CASE# 13247-19
