PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – March 22, 2019 – The Calvert County Department of Parks & Recreation announces the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a controlled burn of an unsafe structure located at Hallowing Point Park on Monday, March 25.

Citizens are advised that smoke and fire may be visible but to not contact emergency services if visiting the park. The structure is located adjacent to field four.

Hallowing Point Park will be open during the duration of the burn, and members of the fire department and county staff will be on site to ensure citizen safety.
