Charlotte Hall, MD- On Monday, May 25, 2019 at 12:08 a.m. the St. Mary’s County 9-1-1- dispatch was alerted to a one story, single family home fire on Charlotte Hall Road in Charlotte Hall, MD.

Upon arrival the Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department with fifty-five personnel worked to extinguish the blaze in approximately 20 minutes.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal was called in to investigate. At this time the fire remains under investigation.

The loss of structure is listed at $250,000.00 and loss of contents at $50,000.00.
