The Town of Chesapeake Beach has canceled the bulk trash services bid MDTCB31043813.The Town has issued a RFP Open Market Bid MDTCB31043953 for bulk, trash and recycling services for municipal residents.A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on April 17th at 9:00 AM at Town Hall 8200 Bayside Rd. Chesapeake, Beach MD. Sealed bids will be received April 25th 2019 at 10:00 AM at Town Hall. State Highway Fishing Creek Bridge Update – The State Highway Administration (SHA)notified the Town thatthe previously announced construction start date of March 27this nowmoved to mid April due to further work on low voltage lines within the area.The Town will provide an updated notice as soon as more information is available.
NOTICE: The Rod and Reel parking garage project has reached a point where they have brought in a large crane to erect large precast concrete beams and structures. This work started February 15th and will continue for 8 to 10 weeks.This will create a flagging operation on Mears Avenue as the trucks arrive and leave. There are no permanent lane closures’ scheduled.
The Calvert County Department of Public Safety is hosting free monthly training sessions to better prepare citizens of all ages for emergencies.Training focuses on active shooter, performing CPR and assisting injured persons prior to professional help arriving. For more information,click here.

The Chesapeake Beach Water Park is now taking sign-ups for Orientations for all Positions for the 2019 Summer Season.All interviews for all positions will be conducted at these Job Specific Orientations on the dates listed on our website. We hire starting at age 14 for Customer Service Specialists (CSSs), and Runners in the Food and Beverage Department. Grillers working in our Beachcomber Grille must be 15 years old.
