News Release, St. Mary’s Ryken High School

Last week, the St. Mary’s Ryken Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club traveled to Hunt Valley, Maryland to compete in the state competition.

Alexandra Wettengel and Amanda Thompson took 2nd place in the Management Decision Making event. Both students will representthe state of Maryland in San Antonio, Texas at the national FBLA conference this June. Krystal Shaw took 5th place in Sales Presentation.

Seven students from SMR attended the state conference from March 28 – March 30. They participated in workshops, networked with other students from all over Maryland and were able to connect with local business people.

The group is led by club moderator, Mrs. Paula McGuigan.
