Children’s Aid, Inc., a non-profit organization providing assistance to Calvert County children in need, is holding their seventh annual Bids for Kids online charity auction April 15 – May 1, 2019. The online fundraiser features over 120 auction items including theatre, symphony and concert tickets, wine tastings, hotel getaways, tickets to sporting events, retail and dining gift certificates, outdoor adventures and more.
All auction proceeds go directly to fund the programs Children’s Aid, Inc. operates within Calvert County. Currently, the volunteer-driven organization operates several programs: Operation Backpack, The Great Book Giveaways, Christmas Cheer Program, Youth Sports Scholarship Program, and its newest offering, College/Career Scholarships. Interested shoppers can bid now through midnight on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at www.CAIAuction.com.
Similar to other online auctions, bidders will have the opportunity to bid on their favorite items, and they will be notified via email if they have been outbid. At that point, bidders will have the opportunity to submit a new bid before the close of the auction.
