Sunday, April 14th, 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. –Earth Day on the Square– Local experts and organizations provide educational activities to teach about conservation, animal rescue, ecology, recycling, and sustainable living. Vendors and special guests provide green products, nature walks, Waterman boat tours, kayak demos, information, resources, live entertainment, food and more!


Earth Day Celebration atCrazy for Ewe Yarns– 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. – a big sale and a fun giveaway of paper patterns, magazines, purse findings, yarn odds and ends, and more. Please bring your own bag, and come early! They will also be doing a special recycle your yarn event where customers can bring in yarn they don’t want and sell it at a special price. Whatever doesn’t sell is donated or sent to fiber recycling.

The Good Earth Natural Foods Companyon Park Avenue will feature a special smoothie in honor of Earth Day called Global Warming. This all-natural smoothie features a delicious blend of young coconut, mango, pineapple, greens and coconut water.
