From Principal Mike Shisler: Kerry Tittinger is simply Miss T to her kids and colleagues.

Kerry has been teaching 3rd grade at Beach since 2016, and prior to that, she taught 4th grade at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Towson. Her undergraduate degree is from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA, where she graduated magna cum laude. She earned her Master’s in Elementary Education from Notre Dame of Maryland University, summa cum laude, in Baltimore.

Walk into Kerry’s classroom and it will be quickly evident that she loves teaching kids, and she loves teaching math.

Kerry is a member of our Beach Equity, Environmental, and Schoolwide Activities committees. She volunteers at our Military Families dinners. She helps as a PBIS check in/check out mentor. Plus, she’s Girls JV Lacrosse coach at HHS.

Most importantly, to her 3rd graders, Miss T is simply:
• creative – she is always coming up with new ways to make our learning fun
• awesome—she has awesome math strats (strategies) to help us with math
• amazing – she can take a joke and she even has a favorite number sentence (6 x 4 = 24)
• smart – she helps me when I struggle in math or science
• simply awesome – because she is the best math teacher ever – I bet I go to 4th grade so smart!

Kudos to Kerry Tittinger, our Beach Teacher of the Year!
