Homicide Unit detectives arrested a suspect in connection with a homicide that took place in Fort Washington last week. The suspect is 22-year-old Ulises Bonilla of the 5600 block of Fargo Avenue in Oxon Hill. Bonilla is charged with fatally shooting 19-year-old Timothy Rojas of Temple Hills.

On April 12th, at approximately 11:00 pm, patrol officers responded to the 1500 block of Tucker Road. They located the victim outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He died a short time later at a hospital. The preliminary investigation reveals the suspect shot the victim during a drug-related dispute.

He is charged with first and second degree murder and related charges. He’s in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
