UPDATE 3:58 p.m.- Per the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, the portion of Three Notch Road that was closed has now reopened. More details will be provided if they become available

Mechanicsville, MD- A motor vehicle collision has closed a portion of Three Notch Road in the area of Xavier Lane and Jinks Way.

Units on the scene report two vehicles were involved and a MEDEVAC has been called in to transport one patient.

Expect delays and find an alternate route if possible.
