UPDATE 9:50 a.m.- Power has been restored back to the section of NAS Pax River.

A power substation at NAS Pax River is currently down resulting in loss of power to the base northwest of runway 06-24. SMECO is assessing the substation and working to restore power.

An update will be provided as soon as repairs are made and power is restored.
