PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The St. Mary’s College of Maryland women’s rowing team had a solid showing at the Kerr Cup Regatta on Saturday (Apr. 20). The Seahawks Varsity Four team finished second, while the Varsity Eight team placed third.

How It Happened

  • In the Varsity Four Final, the Seahawks finished second with a time of 8:47.87. St. Mary’s College defeated the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Franklin & Marshall, Cabrini, and Bryn Mawr. Carnegie Mellon won the women’s Varsity Four.
  • After finishing second in the Varsity Eight Heat, the Seahawks advanced to the final where they finished third. St. Mary’s College finished with a time of 7:55.15, defeating Johnson & Wales, Carnegie Mellon, and Cabrini.
