From Principal Charles Treft:

Mrs. Hill joined the Mt. Harmony Elementary School staff as the school’s nurse in November of 2017. Prior to becoming a school nurse, Mrs. Hill’s experiences included being a substitute teacher, a nurse technician, a clinical visiting nurse, and a charge Registered Nurse in the intensive care unit of a hospital. “Nurse Kim” quickly developed relationships with students and parents within the first few months of being at MHES.

Parents of students who had significant health concerns quickly realized their child’s care was in very competent hands. She not only provides expert medical care for students but at times the staff as well.

Mrs. Hill volunteers outside the school as an AWANA church leader, at the Safe Harbor Women’s and Children’s shelter, and as a nurse mentor to College of Southern Maryland nursing students. Mrs. Hill—thank you for everything you do for the Mt. Harmony Elementary School students and staff, you are very deserving of being recognized as the school’s Employee Support Person of the Year.
