Town of North Beach
The Town of North Beach was made aware of a rumor circulating through students of Windy Hill Middle School and social media pertaining to a threat of an act of violence geared towards an individual. The threat is allegedly going to be carried out at this evening’s North Beach Farmers’ Market.
Although the threat has not been validated as of yet, we take all such threats seriously. The Town of North Beach would like to assure you that the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office is aware of the rumors and are on top of this investigation.
As always, tonight’s Farmers’ Market will be adequately staffed with Sheriff’s Office Personnel to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment
