Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department via Facebook

Over the past several weeks, Members at Hollywood have been putting in some detailing work to our apparatus. From polishing chrome and diamond pate, to washing and waxing all the units. Countless hours of hard work was put into preparing for the Southern Maryland Parade.

Even with rain coming down, the Members of HVFD headed to Ridge to show some Hollywood PRIDE. Because of our great membership, we were able to enter in almost every category offered at the parade.

At the end of the day the Department took in numerous awards including the top award, Best Appearing Company Overall!

We know that trophies don’t put out fires but the PRIDE our membership has, goes to build some of the best firefighters this county has to offer. We are proud to be Hollywood and carry that name, and it shows with our Membership and what we do. We are Proud of our Members, our Officers, our Apparatus, our Facility, our Training, our Auxiliary, and our Hollywood Community/Family.
