Saturday, June 1 – Kane Brown performs LIVE 
4:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Country music star Kane Brown will perform live at the PNC Waterside Pavilion.  Brown is joined by “To a T” singer Ryan Hurd, opening on the main stage at 7:30 p.m. and local rising star Jackson Dean on the side stage at 5:00 p.m.  Gates open early at 4:30 p.m. with food and beverage vendors onsite.  The museum closes at 3 p.m. for concert preparations. 

Sunday, June 2 – Dee of St. Mary’s Public Sail  
2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Sail on the Dee of St. Mary’s, leaving from the museum dock. Fee is $25 for ages 13 and up, $15 for children 5 – 12. No children under 5 please.  Preregistration is required; visit bit.ly/DeeOfStMarysCruisesto register.

Thursday, June 6 – Where the River Meets the Bay Lecture Series 
7 p.m. in the Harms Gallery. This series of lectures explores the history and natural environment of the unique region in which we reside.  A Shared History Since 1942: The Patuxent’s Relationships with United States Armed Forces will be presented by CMM Curator of Maritime History Mark Wilkins.  FREE.

Friday, June 7 – First Free Friday 
5 p.m. – 8 p.m. The museum is open and FREE to the public.  Entertainment provided by the Annapolis Bluegrass Coalition, starting at 6 p.m. in the Harms Gallery.  The Drum Point Lighthouse and Museum Store will be open.

Tuesday, June 11; Thursday, June 13; and Wednesday, June 19 – Sea Squirts

10:15 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. This month’s theme is Mommas and Babies of the Bay.  FREE drop-in program for children ages 18 months to 3 years and their caregivers. Space is limited; if the session is full, another program will be offered at 11 a.m.

Wednesday, June 12 – Planning Your Future Seminar Series

2 p.m. – 3 p.m. Wills & Estate Planning presented by Amy Lorenzini, Esq. of Cumberland & Erly, LLC.  Admission is free; preregistration is required by contacting Pam Paterson, CMM Director of Philanthropy, at 410-326-2042 ext. 13 or Pamela.Paterson@calvertcountymd.gov.

Thursday, June 13 – Community Cash Mob at the Museum Store

11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Join the Community Cash Mob on June 13th as they mob the Museum Store!  The Community Cash Mob is a group of employees coming together at a local business to spend money and shop local. Community Bank of the Chesapeake will be giving out a limited number of vouchers to shoppers towards their purchase on that day.

Friday, June 14 – The Maritime Performance Series presents John Conolly and Rob van Sante  

7 p.m. in the Harms Gallery.This duo is sure to provide an entertaining evening with their thought-provoking, tuneful, and often outrageously funny songs.  Doors open at 6 p.m., with beer and wine available for sale. Saturday, June 15 – Lighthouse Adventure Cruise – Southern Bay

7:45 a.m. – 5 p.m. Lighthouse lovers are welcome aboard a private charter vessel to tour the Southern Bay and see six lighthouses. The cost is $130 for the day-long trip; museum members pay $120.  Space is limited; preregistration is required by June 13. Purchase tickets at bit.ly/CMMLighthouseCruise.

Saturday, June 15  Fossil Field Experience

9 a.m.  – 2 p.m.  Come explore the fossils of Cove Point with a trained museum educator. Learn where to find fossils, how to identify them, and the secrets they hold about Earth’s prehistory. Return to the museum after lunch for tours of our paleo hall and fossil prep lab before exploring the rest of the museum at your leisure!  For ages 8 and up. Cost is $20. Space is limited. Sunday, June 16 – Father’s Day Brunch Cruise

11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Dads love being out on the water – a perfect way to say “You’re the best!” Tickets are $30 for adults, $15 for children 12 and under.  Preregistration is required; visit bit.ly/WmBTennisonCruises to register.

Sunday, June 16 – Father’s Day Evening Cruise

Thursday, June 20 – CMM Members Save 20%

10:15 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. Museum members enjoy a 20% discount in the Museum Store all day today and on the 20th of every month.

Saturday, June 22 – Toy Boat Building

2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Toy boat building, sponsored by the Patuxent Small Craft Guild, has been part of the museum for over 30 years and is offered on the fourth Saturday of every month.  A $2 donation per boat is requested. Museum admission is required. This activity is ideal for ages 5 and up.
