Bulk Trash collection will take place on the third Thursday of every month for the entire Town. Please contact Town Hall (410-257-2230) to schedule your pickup no later than the Monday morning prior to collection.  June 20th is the next bulk trash collection date. The Calvert County Department of Public Safety is hosting free monthly training sessions to better prepare citizens of all ages for emergencies. Training focuses on active shooter, performing CPR and assisting injured persons prior to professional help arriving.  For more information, click here .

June 15 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.  We are offering the first of three cruise dates for Summer 2019.  We will be welcoming Dr. Ralph Eshelman, who is a specialist in maritime history of the Chesapeake Bay, War of 1812 in the Chesapeake, geology and paleontology. As we cruise he will fill us in on many interesting things about the Bay we all love.  The cost is $32 per person. Children are welcome; there are no age limits, but these cruises are more suited for adults. Guests can bring small coolers with adult beverages, drinks and snacks. All cruises leave from the Rod ‘N’ Reel Dock located at 4165 Mears Avenue, Chesapeake Beach MD 20732. September 14 from 12 pm – 5pm. Taste the Beaches @ Kellam’s Field. Reserve your vendor space today!  The third annual Taste the Beaches event, attracting an estimated 2,000 attendees annually, is an outdoor festival with a community block party vibe; showcasing local businesses, restaurants, venues and attractions available in the Towns of Chesapeake Beach and North Beach.
