The Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) bestowed one of its highest honors to St. Mary’s College student Liam McCarthy ’20. McCarthy was awarded the Robert Hobbs Sportsman of the Year at the conclusion of the ICSA Dinghy National Championships held in Newport, Rhode Island.

McCarthy and first year teammate, Leo Boucher, were both honored as Honorable Mention All-Americans.

The St. Mary’s College Seahawks finished 7th at the ICSA/Gill Dinghy National Championships.
