News Release, Prince Frederick Volunteer Rescue Squad

On June 12th, Company 4 Members attended the 2nd Annual First Responders Appreciation Dinner at The Rod and Reel, with members from other Calvert County Fire EMS stations and Law Enforcement, hosted by the Calvert County Behavioral Health / Calvert County Health Dept.

During the evening, Company 4 member Alan Ridgely was recognized for outstanding dedication and service to The Prince Frederick Volunteer Rescue Squad and community and received an award along with a citation from U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen.

Attendees also were able to hear testimonies and thank you’s from local citizens who have been helped by EMS, CCSO, and MSP during their darkest moments of despair and addiction, as they shared their personal stories of the impact of second chances of life and journeys to recovery and personal successes. It was an inspiring night.
