The Town of Chesapeake Beach seeks proposals for Public Boat Ramp Repairs: eMaryland Marketplace Bid# MDTCB31045485 – a Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on June 27th at 1:00 pm at Town Hall. Sealed proposals are due to Town Hall 8200 Bayside Rd. Chesapeake Beach MD by July 2nd at 9:30 am.

The Town of Chesapeake Beach seeks proposals for Water Reclamation Treatment Plant Sludge Removal: eMaryland Marketplace Bid #MDTCB31045484 – a Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 25th at 10:00 am at 8550 Bayside Rd. Chesapeake Beach, MD. Sealed proposals are due to Town Hall by 8200 Bayside Rd. Chesapeake Beach, MD by July 2nd at 9:30 am.

Bulk Trash collection will take place on the third Thursday of every month for the entire Town. Please contact Town Hall (410-257-2230) to schedule your pickup no later than the Friday afternoon prior to collection. July 18th is the next bulk trash collection date. The Calvert County Department of Public Safety is hosting free monthly training sessions to better prepare citizens of all ages for emergencies. Training focuses on active shooter, performing CPR and assisting injured persons prior to professional help arriving. For more information, click here .

Canceled CRUISE UPDATE – The June 15th Moonlight Cruise with Dr. Ralph Eshelman that was canceled due to high winds has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 3rd at 7 PM. We are not taking any more reservations as this cruise is at capacity.

July 3 – Chesapeake Beach Fireworks Extravaganza at dusk over the Bay. Rain date July 5th. Kellam’s Field will be open for Fireworks viewing. Bring a blanket and a picnic for a great family outing! Glass containers and alcohol strictly prohibited.

Children are welcome; there are no age limits, but these cruises are more suited for adults. Guests can bring small coolers with adult beverages, drinks, and snacks.
