Funkzilla is a 6 piece party band covering most genres, focusing on upbeat music. Playing hits ranging from the 1960s up to modern hits you are sure to hear something that you like. Made up of seasoned musicians from the local southern Maryland area, Funkzilla has been playing since 2012.

The weekly concerts take place from 7 pm to 9 pm on the lawn at La Plata Town Hall at 305 Queen Anne Street. Concert goers are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for sitting. Coolers are allowed, but no alcohol, please. Concessions are available from the Town’s food trailer located in the back of the parking lot; an ice cream truck is stationed there for your enjoyment.

A play area for children, the Kids’ Zone, allows parents to enjoy the concert while keeping an eye on the little ones. We ask that dogs and other pets be kept off of Town Hall grounds during Events.
