Mechanicsville, MD- Shortly before 7 a.m. this morning a tractor-trailer carrying cut logs overturned on Thompsons Corner Road.
The Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department and St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded with medical assistance and transport provided by the Newburg Volunteer Rescue Squad.

There was one person injured in the incident and they were transported to the University of Maryland Prince George’s County Hospital.
