Brandywine, MD– The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision in Brandywine Tuesday evening. The victim is 43-year-old Durrell Crawford of Brandywine.

On August 6th, at approximately 7:20 pm, patrol officers were called to the 15900 block of McKendree Road for a single-vehicle collision. The preliminary investigation reveals Crawford was traveling eastbound on McKendree Road when for reasons that remain under investigation, his SUV left the roadway and struck several trees. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
