Say hello to Icey who’s Pets In Need In Southern Maryland’s “DOG OF THE WEEK”.

Icey is approximately 2-1/2 years old, spayed, UTD on vaccines, micro-chipped and currently on heartworm and tick preventives.

She’s sweet, smart, silly and just wants a family to love.    She’s a pretty calm, laid-back girl who’s fully house-broken, crate trained, knows basic commands, walks well on a leash and loves to cuddle and hang out with her human(s).

Sadly, Icey’s life didn’t start out the greatest but it’s obvious she hasn’t allowed her past to dictate her future, she’s so appreciative for the smallest of things in life. She will brighten your day with her big smile and kisses.

She has done well with all the dogs she’s met and loves children.   We’re not sure about cats as she has not been introduced to any at this time.   However, I don’t see much of a prey drive.

She loves to explore her outdoor surroundings at her foster home by sniffing the flowers, watching the butterflies and visiting the neighbor’s dogs through the fence and the best part is she’s not much of a barker.

She’s just a wonderful girl who’s so deserving of a second chance in life in a loving home.
