UPDATE 8:06 p.m.: The intersection of Hawthorne Rd. and Marshall Corner Rd. is reopened in all directions. 

The Charles County Citizen Notification System has sent out a notification that the intersection at Hawthorne Rd. and Marshall Corner Rd. is shut down in all directions. 

At this time we do not know what this is related to. Watch for any emergency vehicles, and expect delays due to Friday traffic and weather.
