The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners held a ribbon-cutting today for the new Cove Point Dog Park. The two-acre dog park located in Lusby will provide dog lovers with a spacious place for their pets to play and stay active.

Cove Point Dog Park includes separate areas for different types of dogs, so owners can feel comfortable letting their furry friends run and play.

This ribbon cutting marks the opening of Calvert County’s third dog park. Dunkirk and Grays Road dog parks are located in Dunkirk and Prince Frederick, respectively.
