FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – St. Mary’s College of Maryland senior forward Khalid Balogun was named the Capital Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced today (Sept. 9). The is Balogun’s second consecutive CAC Offensive Player of the Week honor.

Balogun, a native of Bowie, Maryland, paced the Seahawks last week with eight points off of four goals. Balogun led the Seahawks to a 2-0 record during the week with victories over Bridgewater (4-1) and Kean (2-0). In addition, Balogun leads the CAC in points (16) and goals (7). The Seahawks remain undefeated on the young season with a perfect 4-0 record. 

The Seahawk men’s soccer team will be back in action this Saturday (Sept. 14) when they host Stevenson at Jamie L. Roberts Stadium. Opening kick off is set for 4:00 p.m.
