UPDATE 9/12/2019 12:30 p.m.- THe Southern Maryland Chronicle has sifted through conflicting reports of the incident last night. The victim is an 18-year-old male that was on a four-wheeler when he was hit by a passing vehicle. No word on who is at fault.

According to a Facebook post, the victim is currently at Baltimore Shock Trauma, in the ICU and is in critical condition.

The Chronicle has information on who this individual is and would appreciate if our readers do not reveal that until released by officials.

UPDATE 4:28 p.m.- The female patient is currently being MEDEVAC’d to Shock Trauma in Baltimore. Watch for emergency personnel and vehicles in the landing zone(Unknown location). Expect Delays.

Hughesville, MD(4:15 p.m.)- Charles County Emergency Services are on the scene in Hughesville, MD at Pale Morning Court(exact location unknown at this time) for a dirt bike crash.

The initial report states that a female teen(approx. 16yo) was operating a dirt bike in the area and was struck by a vehicle. The initial report suggests the female rider sustained obvious head trauma.

Watch for emergency vehicles and personnel in the area. They will be possible delays and in the area of a landing zone, if required.
