UPDATE 9/20/2109 @ 1:50 a.m.- Northbound Route 5 is now re-opened
Hughesville, MD- A motor vehicle crash has closed northbound Leonardtown Road(Route 5) at Gallant Green Road.
Units are on the scene and Trooper 7(MEDEVAC), based out of St. Mary’s Regional Airport has been requested. Trooper 7 will land on the helipad on the SMECO property off of Burnt Store Road.
Watch for emergency vehicles and personnel, and expect delays.
