FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) has announced its weekly awards following the fourth week of the 2019 field hockey season. St. Mary’s College junior forward Meghan Ronan earned CAC Offensive Player of the Week accolades for the first time this season.

Ronan led the Seahawks to a 1-0 week with a 4-2 victory over Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday, Sept. 21. The Seahawks improved to a perfect 7-0 with the victory. The Odenton, Maryland native led the Seahawk offense with a total of five points by tallying two goals and one assist. Ronan is currently second in the CAC in goals (5), assists (5), and points (15).

The Seahawk field hockey team will be back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 25 when they travel to Shenandoah for a 4 p.m. non-conference game.
