WINCHESTER, Va. – The St. Mary’s College of Maryland women’s cross country team continued its season as they competed at the Hornet Harrier Invite hosted by Shenandoah University Saturday morning (Sept. 28).

St. Mary’s Top 5 Finishers

  • After missing the last meet,Kara Taylorcame back to run a 20:28.6 which was good enough for 11th out of 143 total runners.
  • Marie Lewiswas the next Seahawk to finish as she ran a 23:05.7 for 69th overall place.
  • Not far behind Lewis wasGrace Dillinghamin 76th overall with a time of 23:19.3.
  • Isobel Hermansran a 24:47.6 andAmy Forsbackacame in at 25:25.2 to round out St. Mary’s top five.

Other Race Highlights

  • Bridgewater College’s English Jackson was the first runner to cross the finish line as she ran a 19:07.1.
  • Salisbury finished first overall as a team with a score of 54 points.
