CHESTERFIELD, Va. – The St. Mary’s College of Maryland men’s swimming team (1-5) completed the opening day of competition at the Randolph-Macon Invitational on Saturday (Nov. 23). The Seahawks sit in seventh place with 408.5 points.

How It Happened
- The Seahawks recorded a top-five finish in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay when Nate Donoghue, Ryan Akhavan, Jack Kennedy, and Anri Cifuentes Robinson placed fifth with a time of 1:30.55.
- Next, the quartet of Peter Orban, Cifuentes Robinson, Akhavan, and Donoghue swam a time of 3:38.95 for a fifth-place finish in the 400 Yard Medley Relay.
- Orban had a strong finish in the 100 Yard Backstroke, crossing the finish line with a time of 53.33 for third place.
