Bryantown, MD- On Friday, January 17, 20220 at approx. 3:43 p.m., the Charles County emergency 9-1-1 was alerted to a motor vehicle crash on Leonardtown Road and La Plata Road in Bryantown, MD. The initial reports stated a two-vehicle crash with a least one person trapped in a vehicle.

Charles County Volunteers responded from Waldorf, La, Plata, and Hughesville, with Waldorf in command of the scene. It was determined that one person was trapped ina vehicle and they were extracated.

All patients were evaluated by EMS on the scene and one person was transported to the University of Maryland Prince George’s Hospital Center Trauma Center by MSP Trooper #2 (MEDEVAC) and five patients were transported by ground to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
