Leonardtown, MD – The Historic Preservation Commission is sponsoring a free public lecture on recent archaeological explorations in St. Mary’s City Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, at 7 p.m. in the commissioners meeting room inside the Chesapeake Building located at 41770 Baldridge Street in Leonardtown.

Ruth Mitchell, Senior Staff Archaeologist for Historic St. Mary’s City will describe excavation findings and insights into the landscape of the area.
