FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) has announced its ninth weekly awards of the 2019-20 season. St. Mary’s College junior Brenna Litynski claimed CAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week honors.

Litynski won two individual events to help the Seahawks capture a 112-87 victory over Salisbury on Saturday (Jan. 25). Litynski swam a time of 1:59.08 to record a first-place finish in the 200 Yard Freestyle. Next, Litynski won her second event of the afternoon when she swam a time of 54.86 in the 100 Yard Freestyle. In addition, Litynski was a member of the 200 Yard Medley Relay team that finished first with a time of 1:52.05.

The Seahawk women’s swimming team sits at 4-7 overall (2-2 CAC) and will compete in the CAC Championships that take place from Feb. 12-15 at St. Mary’s College.
