UPDATE 2:36 p.m.- The scene has been cleared and the road is reopened. Expect residual delays.

Leonardtown, MD(1:31 p.m.)- Police, Fire, and EMS from St. Mary’s County are responding to a two-vehcile T-Bone style crash on Point Lookout Road.

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office has closed Merchants Lane between Point Lookout Road and Newtowne Neck Road.

The road is expected to be closed for an extended period of time for accident reconstruction and clean-up.

Watch for responding and working emergency personnel and vehicles. Expect significant delays in the area.
