News Release, Historic Sotterley

Volunteers who enjoy the great outdoors and do not mind digging in the dirt are needed to help Sotterley to help others! Join us for one of two potato-planting sessions at Historic Sotterley as part of our “Growing for Good” program! Your help will ensure thousands of pounds of potatoes go to local food pantries to help those in need, for the seventh year in the row!

Our goal is to plant 6 acres of potatoes (and maybe a few onions!). This is a family-friendly event. (Perfect for your Girl Scout or Boy Scout troops or other community service requirements!) We invite anyone 5 and older to help plant potatoes.

Dress appropriately for this *weather-dependent event. Please bring gloves, and be prepared as shoes may get muddy if plots have recently had rain.

RAINDATE:  Saturday, MARCH 28th!
