PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – April 8, 2020 – The Department of Parks & Recreation announces all county parks will be closed to the public during Easter weekend as a further precaution in order to slow the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The parks will be closed beginning Friday, April 10 through Sunday, April 12.

Additional closures and operational changes are listed on Calvert County’s virtual resource center at www.CalvertCountyMd.gov/Coronavirus, under the heading “Calvert County Updates.” This information will continue to be updated regularly, and residents, employees and media are encouraged to monitor the page for further updates, guidance and resources.
