Huntingtown, MD- On Monday, April 13, around 8:44 a.m., deputies along with rescue units were dispatched to report of an overturned vehicle in the area of Huntingtown Road and White Marsh Ct. in Huntingtown, MD.

Units arrived on the scene to discover a single-vehicle accident involving an overturned leaking propane tanker. The driver of the tanker was uninjured. HAZMAT crews along with rescue units from North Beach VFD, Dunkirk VFD, Prince Frederick VFD, St. Leonard VFD and Huntingtown VFD responded to the scene and worked for over five hours to contain the leak.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
