LEONARDTOWN, MD – As part of their ongoing support for small businesses,the Commissioners of St. Mary’s County approved a Memorandum of Agreement between the county and the College of Southern Maryland to continue the operating services of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). The agreement allocated $37,500 from their FY21 budget and was approved during their regular business meeting Tuesday, June 9, 2020.

The SBDC provides market research, cash flow analysis and topic-specific training and ongoing mentoring to small-business owners and startups located in St. Mary’s County and is part of a federally funded program from the U.S. Small Business Administration.
