Ocean City, MD- Over the last week to ten days, several Ocean City Restaurants and Bars have been forced to close their doors during their busy season. Below is a list compiled and could expand due to delays in testing.

PURPLE MOOSE SALOON – closed Fri. July 10 until further notice, 2 staff tested pos

FISH TALES – closed Fri. July 10 until further notice, 3 staff tested pos

EMBERS RESTAURANT – temporarily closed, 1 staff pos

BLU CRABHOUSE & RAW BAR – temporarily closed, 1 staff pos

THE CRAB BAG – inside dining & bar closed, outside dining & deck bar open

BUCKS (west OC) – inside dining & bar closed, outside open

BULL ON THE BEACH (2nd St) – closed for now, open for carryout July 13-16, no staff have tested pos, this for covid spread prevention

ORIGINAL CRABCAKE FACTORY – temporarily closed to reconfigure for carry out service

SHENANIGAN’S – Effective July 14, we will be closed until further notice. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, a member of our staff tested positive for COVID-19. Once we feel it is safe to do so and we have conducted a deep clean and sanitation of our facility, we will reopen

28th ST PUB – (7/18) Some employees pos. We will continue our temporary closure for the time-being & will announce a re-opening date when we (& health officials) feel it is safe to do so.

PHILIPS CRAB HOUSE – closed until further notice. A number of employees tested pos.

HAMMERHEADS – We closed today (7/16) as of 1PM & we will be closed until further notice, we are so sorry for any inconvenience & encourage anyone who has visited our establishment that shows any symptoms of the coronavirus to be tested & take all necessary precautions to stop the spread!

BULL ON THE BEACH – 94th St. (7/17) We are closed and are taking preventative measures to make sure our staff is safe. We hope to see you soon! Thank You.

HARBORSIDE BAR & GRILL – (7/18) As a precautionary step we are closing our doors today so all of our employees can be tested for Covid and for a deep cleaning. Once all test results have come back we will be reopening as soon as we can.

BARN 34 – Beginning today July 18th, we will be closing as an employee has tested positive for covid-19.

ALBERTINO’S BRICK OVEN & EATERY – (7/18) Due to a staff member that may have COVID. We will notify everyone after the entire staff gets tested for COVID of our next move.

REEL INN RESTAURANT & DOCK BAR – (7/21) Closed July 18 due to Covid-19 concerns.
