The Charles County Department of Health (CCDOH) announces that a community grant application for nonprofits to receive CARES Act Relief Funds will be available on Monday, August 3, 2020.
The grants are intended to provide support to nonprofit organizations to enhance Charles County’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Grant applications are evaluated on a rolling first come, first serve basis.
A team of CCDOH panel reviewers will review applications and recommend awards.
Applications will be accepted according to the following schedule:
- Not-for-profit/Community organizations:August 3 – 6
- Faith-based/Healthcare: August 10-13
“This online application process is scheduled to go live on the website at www.charlescountyhealth.org ”, said Dr. Howard Haft, Executive Director, Maryland Primary Care Model and for COVID and the CARES Act for Charles County Department of Health. A dedicated CARES Act Nonprofit Relief Grant button is located on the main navigation of the site homepage. From that button, users will be linked to the CARES Act page. Applicants can click on the link to the fillable fields providing the basis and amounts for the grant requests and other related financial information. The process will remain open until all allocated funds are awarded.
