UPDATE 7:50 a.m.: The confirmed tornado touchdown in the 21900 block of Point Lookout Road.


UPDATE 7:15 am- The National Weather Service(NWS) reports a Tornado with 45 mph, touched down in Leonardtown. The NWS will send someone to the area to confirm at a later time. WE have a reporter on the way to the area.


Leonardtown, MD- As Hurricane/Tropical Storm Isaias moved up the coastline, Tornado Warnings became more frequent in the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 4, 2020.

At least four warnings went out between 3 am and 7 am. At approximately 6:50 am. Tornado SPotters in the Leonardtown area reported rotation and a possible touchdown.
