Two of my favorite seafood restaurants are open and putting out amazing seafood dishes.

I wrote about these two last August and am providing links to the original articles. In addition, I am letting you know their status and a little about their fabulous food. Check their Facebook pages or websites for additional information and any specials.

Morris Point Seafood Restaurant

  • 38869 Morris Point Road
  • Abell, MD
  • 301-769-2500

Chris and his crew are busy on weekends cooking up delicious seafood and other dishes. Hidden away on the water in Abell, Morris Point has beautiful water views and wonderful food! You cannot ask for more than that!

These days they have crabs! Crabs by the dozen come with unlimited sides. Unlimited sides mean I can eat as many butter beans as possible…because they are amazing! They have their regular menu and offer weekend specials. Check out my article from last August for more information about the restaurant.

Some of my favorites are the Fatty Crab (a softshell crab stuffed with a crab cake), crab balls, hush puppies (imagine that…those who follow me know I love hushpuppies), stuffed shrimp, and butter beans.

Chris also makes amazing desserts! You must save room!

Morris Point Restaurant is located at 38869 Morris Point Road in Abell, Maryland. Their hours are Friday 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Saturday 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Sunday from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. On Sundays, they serve brunch from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Jerry’s Place

  • 1541 Solomons Island Road, S.
  • Prince Frederick, MD
  • 410-535-3242

If you want an amazing crab cake you need to go to Jerry’s Place on Solomons Island Road in Prince Frederick. The crab cakes are all meat with zero filler, and they are so good! It’s like eating a pile of fresh crab meat (and you don’t have to pick the crabs).

Reopened since July, Jerry and his family are making it work. Read my original article for additional information about the fantastic food!

Some of my favorites are the crab dip, stuffed shrimp, and the haddock bites (which are utterly amazing). All the side are delicious! Who knew I would like cooked tomatoes…not me! The tomatoes and the kale are my favorites!

And if you are lucky, Jerry will come by to say “Hi”.

Jerry’s Place is located at 1541 Solomona Island Road. The hours are Thursday 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Friday & Saturday 2:00pm to 7:00pm, and Sunday 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
