Second Hope Rescue is an all-volunteer, 501C(3) non-profit, all-breed animal rescue group.

They are dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of harder-to-place dogs, due to breed bias, undesirable behavior, or age.

Though much of the focus is on the harder-to-place dogs, they also rescue any dog or cat in need. In addition to dogs and cats, they have rescued bunny rabbits, birds, and various reptiles that have needed their help.

Recent dog in need:

Momma Charli is almost ready for adoption. She has made tremendous progress since arriving pregnant, sick, and in active labor. She is on the smaller side for a Shepard mix. She is about 2/3 years of age and 50 lbs. She is potty trained and knows to sit. She believes she can sit in your lap and give kisses. She would benefit from a basic training course as she is learning about basic leash manners. She’s very responsive to treats and is very eager to please you. She wants nothing more than you to love her.

Charli is terrified of crates and being locked up. She does well free-ranging in her area. Her new home will be required to have a fence. She is available for adoption through Second Hope Rescue. Her foster is offering a paid basics training program. Charli deserves the best…. Someone give this girl a forever home.
