There are always new restaurants opening in Southern Maryland, here are several new ones either coming or recently opened. This gives everyone something to try now and something to look forward to. I will be checking out these places over the next couple of months. I will let you know my thoughts after I visit.
Pho Town & Grill
746 North Prince Frederick Boulevard
Prince Frederick, MD
Located in the near the Weis grocery store, this restaurant will serve Pho and other Vietnamese favorites. Pho Town should be opening very soon. They are in the final stages of the inspection/permit process.
3295 Crain Highway
Raising Cane’s will be taking over the Boston Market property in Waldorf. The Boston Market closed, and renovations should begin soon. With 600 locations nationwide, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is an American fast-food restaurant chain founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1996. I don’t have a date for their opening yet.
22845 Washington Street
Open since November, this Spanish restaurant serves tapas (small plates meant to be shared) and other Spanish fares. I love tapas and can’t wait to dine at Tapas Ology!

Noli’s Italian Cucina
26005 Point Lookout Road
Noli’s serves authentic Italian-style cuisine using high-quality ingredients and family recipes. Opening this week, the reviews from the soft opening have been great. The pictures of the food look fabulous! Reservations for Noli’s can be made through the Open Table reservation service. I will be dining at Noli’s soon!

White Plains, MD
My friend, Brian Israel, has taken his amazing food truck BBQ and moved it to a storefront. His food can now be found in White Plains and can be ordered online or by phone. All his meats are delicious, and I love his baked beans!

Bayou Girl Drink Factory
228 Rosewick Road
Bayou Girl Drink Factory has been open since October and is an over-21 shop serving New Orleans-style daiquiris. They have happy hour specials, beer on tap, karaoke nights, game nights, and so much more.

Friday – 5:00pm to 12:00am
Saturday – 3:00pm to 12:00am

La Vela Italian Restaurant
251 C Street
La Vela is an Italian restaurant that is getting great reviews. They have been open since November and use the Open Table reservation service.
